The Sunset Strip is receiving its first major makeover, as the area celebrates its 75th anniversary.
The beautification efforts will include landscaping, resurfacing and improvements to pedestrian areas. Set at the base of the Hollywood Hills, the Sunset Strip is the home of L.A.’s hip nightlife scene, offering visitors the chance to experience historic live music clubs like The Roxy, Whisky a Go Go, House of Blues and Viper Room. The Strip became part of West Hollywood when the city incorporated in 1984.
