As we continue our 2010 campaign, we’ve got another big feature to tell you about.
March marks our foray into creating digital editions of all our traditional print publications. Actually, we launched the digital effort in late February with the 2010 Meetings Market Trends Survey supplement—if you haven’t checked it out already, go to www.meetingstoday.com to get your "copy." It’s truly the beginning of a new era for our regular-frequency publications: Meetings East, Meetings MidAmerica, Meetings South and Meetings West.
Much more than just throwing our print editions online, this new format allows us to augment the ink-and-paper effort with expanded features such as video and audio clips, active urls and other interactive features. Even the advertisers are getting into the act via animated ads that really make their messages "pop."
This digital distribution channel can also be shared electronically through the Internet, which opens up a whole new world of readers—participants, really—for all of our content, so please feel free to forward it on to others who may find it valuable in their meeting planning effort.
Besides the phenomenal portability and interactive bells and whistles, the cherry on top is the "green" benefits a digital edition provides.
So give it a read and do your part to save the planet!
