Connecticut

  • Mike McNeill, vice president of operations for Dolce Hotels and Resorts’ North American hotels and resorts, assumed additional responsibility as general manager of the Dolce Norwalk hotel in Norwalk. McNeill previously served Dolce Hotels and Resorts as regional vice president, overseeing the operation of its Doubletree Hotel Boston/Bedford Glen, Mass.; the Dolce Valley Forge in King of Prussia, Pa.; and the Dolce Atlanta-Peachtree in Peachtree City, Ga.

Delaware

  • Monk Murphy was promoted to general manager of Wilmington’s Chase Center on the Riverfront. For the past three years, Monk has been the assistant general manager of the facility.

New York

  • Dolce Hotels and Resorts appointed Chris Dolce general manager of IBM Palisades Executive Conference Center in Rockland County. He previously was general manager of the Dolce Norwalk [Conn.].

Ohio

  • The Cincinnati USA Regional Tourism Network named Julie Calvert regional vice president of marketing. Calvert formerly served as vice president of marketing and strategic development of the Cincinnati USA CVB.

Washington, D.C.

  • Jim Veil was named regional director of operations for Baltimore and Washington, D.C., and general manager of the Willard InterContinental Washington. His most recent position was president of TWELVE Hotels & Residences, a boutique hotel brand based in Atlanta. Prior to this, Veil served 18 years with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company.
