The delayed expansion at the Hilton Pittsburgh is expected to get under way within a month after the property ran into financial problems.
The initial portion of the extension work includes a third-floor swimming pool. New retail space is planned on the ground floor of the hotel. A new ownership team is expected to be finalized about the same time the expansion resumes, according to a report in the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.
