Al Rojas was named interim director of the Dallas Convention Center.
Rojas previously served as assistant director of the facility’s department of convention and event services. He possesses more than 22 years of experience in finance and operations for public facilities. Rojas is a member of the International Association of Assembly Managers (IAAM) and was recently appointed to serve on the IAAM audit committee.
Meanwhile, a nationwide search is under way to replace outgoing Director Frank Poe.
