The Cobb County COC and the Cobb County CVB formed a partnership to fill an executive position and to leverage the strengths of each entity.
Holly Bass, the COC’s chief operating officer will also act as CEO for the CVB. Bass began her career with the chamber 10 years ago as director of marketing.
By partnering the strengths of each organization, the move allows the bureau to improve the effectiveness of the city’s economic development agenda and deliver exceptional business support services to benefit its more than 2,800 members, according to the CVB.
“This is a natural fit and we are excited to help enhance the partnership between the two organizations that are committed to economic development,” said Rob Garcia, chairman of the Cobb County COC.
