Radisson Hotel Duluth Harborview is undergoing an extensive renovation.
The Top of the Harbor restaurant, on the hotel’s 15th floor, has been completely gutted since closing in March and will reopen in May. It will feature a granite bar where patrons can take in Lake Superior views as the restaurant rotates every 72 minutes. A new menu will feature sustainable fish and vegetables.
The 40-year-old hotel’s Fifth Avenue Lounge on the Superior Street level will also be remodeled, with a debut set for this summer. Later this year, the lobby will show off a new look. Eventually, guest rooms and the pool area will also be revamped. The hotel, which can accommodate groups of up to 900, will remain open during the renovation.
The investment is part of a bigger push to renovate and rebrand Radisson hotels across the country.
