Work is underway on the expansion of the Tinley Park Convention Center in south Chicago.
An additional 24,000 square feet of exhibit space will be built, bringing the total of contiguous space to more than 58,000 square feet. Also part of the project is 9,000 square feet of function space. Other features include Wi-Fi connectivity, a business center, new loading docks and 450 new parking spaces. The expansion is scheduled to be completed in May 2011.
