A committee tasked with proposals to build a convention center and adjacent hotel here will make its recommendation to the city council sometime in June.
The five-member group is reviewing four proposals. After a feasibility study and a local panel recommendation, the city began seeking a partner to build a 40,000 to 45,000-square-foot multipurpose convention facility late last year.
