W Austin (713.960.6501) is slated to open Dec. 9 at Block 21 in the 2nd Street District downtown. It will be situated next door to the new home of the Austin City Limits Studio Theater. The hotel will feature 251 guest rooms, a spa, 7,000 square feet of meeting space and many other features.
Westin Austin at The Domain (512.832.4197) recently debuted in Austin’s hip new lifestyle center, The Domain, situated about 10 minutes north of downtown. The Domain is a 304-acre mixed-use development that will include rail connections to downtown Austin and communities to the north. The hotel offers 340 guest rooms and approximately 15,000 square feet of meeting space, including the 7,900-square-foot Primrose Ballroom.
Aloft Austin at The Domain (512.491.0777) recently opened with 140 guest rooms. The hotel, situated at The Domain, features three meeting rooms, aloft’s signature re:mix lounge, a gym and other amenities.
The planned 200-plus-room 21C Austin, a 21C Museum Hotel, will double as a contemporary art museum, which will be open to the public and showcase free exhibitions year-round. The property will also include a signature spa, a restaurant, retail space, a pool and other amenities.
Hyatt Regency Austin (512.477.1234) underwent major renovations in the past year. The hotel is set on the shores of Lady Bird Lake and features the famous “Bat Bridge.” The hotel offers 23,000 square feet of function space and 3,800 square feet of prefunction space.
Radisson Hotel & Suites Austin-Town Lake (512.478.9611) recently completed a major renovation of guest rooms and meeting space. The hotel offers more than 10,000 square feet of function space, and its fitness center has the largest outdoor swimming pool in downtown Austin and offers direct access to the 10.1-mile Town Lake Trail.
Omni Austin Hotel Downtown (512.476.3700) is renovating its guest rooms. The hotel features 16 meeting rooms. The Sixth Street District is within walking distance of the property.
