Delta Air Lines increased service between Saint Lucia and Atlanta.
Flights connecting Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and Saint Lucia’s Hewanorra International Airport increased from seven to 10 flights per week.
“We welcome the additional airlift to the island. Delta’s Atlanta hub provides connections for passengers to our island from the East and West Coast, making the island even more accessible,” said Louis Lewis, director of tourism for the Saint Lucia Tourist Board.
He noted that Saint Lucia expects record tourism arrivals in what is generally regarded as a slow summer season for the Caribbean.
