Hartford
- The new Connecticut Science Center (860.724.3623) opened last June next to the Connecticut Convention Center with 150 hands-on exhibits and such event-friendly highlights as a 3-D digital theater with stadium seating. The multilevel, LEED-certified building can host several hundred for events.
- Scheduled for completion in late 2010, the Front Street (860.527.0100) project at Adriaen’s Landing will be an entertainment and retail complex across the street from the Connecticut Convention Center, the Connecticut Science Center and the Hartford Marriott Downtown.
- Hampton Inn & Suites East Hartford (860.282.2500) opened in April with 121 guest rooms and 900 square feet of meeting space.
- Hyatt Summerfield Suites Hartford North/Windsor (860.298.8000) recently debuted 10 minutes from Bradley International Airport and seven minutes from downtown Hartford. It offers 132 guest rooms and three meeting rooms.
- Hampton Inn & Suites Farmington/Hartford (860.674.8488) recently opened in the historic Farmington Valley with 124 guest rooms and 550 square feet of meeting space.
Mystic Country
- Hyatt Place Uncasville (860.383.1234) debuted in December with 176 guest rooms and 850 square feet of meeting space. The hotel is located one mile from the Mohegan Sun resort casino and nine miles from MGM Grand at Foxwoods.
