The Holiday Inn Charleston Historic District will be rebranded as the Courtyard by Marriott Charleston Historic District after being renovated.
The developer is expected to add 50 hotel guest rooms and 2,500 square feet of meeting space to the existing property, in addition to making extensive upgrades to the rest of the hotel. Once renovations are completed, the hotel will offer a total of 176 rooms and 5,000 square feet of space.
All work is expected to be finished in 2011.
