More Coverage

"What are three great ways groups can incorporate the sports heritage of State College into agendas?"

  • Mount Nittany Club: Imagine taking in views of Nittany Mountain and the surrounding valley through 40-foot-high windows from inside Penn State’s legendary Beaver Stadium. With reception space for up to 250 guests, the stadium’s luxurious Mount Nittany Club offers planners and groups the once-in-a-lifetime experience of gathering inside the home of a football program steeped in tradition and history.
  • Penn State Football Fantasy Camp: Space is limited, but the annual Penn State Football Fantasy Camp offers participants the chance to live the dream of playing Nittany Lion football. Emphasizing skills development, the non-contact program, based upon Nittany Lion traditions, is directed by coaches and former star players. The highlight is the Blue-White flag football game played in Beaver Stadium. With the 2010 introduction of the Ladies X’s & O’s Camp, women are now in the game, too.
  • Penn State All-Sports Museum: Sports fans of all ages can enjoy a self-guided tour of the Penn State All-Sports Museum inside Beaver Stadium, where inspiration can be gained from the stories of men and women who have helped to build Penn State’s strong sports reputation. With interactive displays for all ages, exhibits include John Cappelletti’s Heisman Trophy, Olympic memorabilia and championship trophies. Groups can also hold receptions in the Museum’s lobby.
