The Seattle Art Museum is slated to present an exhibition of the work of Pablo Picasso, Masterpieces from the Musee National Picasso, Paris. Drawn from the collection of the Musee National Picasso in Paris, the exhibition will feature more than 150 paintings, sculptures, drawings, prints and photographs. Every major period from the artist's output over eight decades will be represented, including the Blue Period La Celestina (1904), Cubist Man with a Guitar (1911) and Two Women Running on the Beach (La Course) (1922). This will be the first major survey of Picasso's long career ever to be seen in the Northwest. The exhibit runs from Oct. 8 to Jan. 17, 2011. For more information, call 206.654.3100.

The 239-room Four Seasons Hotel Denver is set for a fall opening at the edge of the Lower Downtown, or "LoDo," neighborhood in the city's business and theater districts. The property will include 102 private residences, 17,000 square feet of meeting and event space on one floor, a rooftop terrace and pool deck, a spa and a steakhouse restaurant. Other features will include a 5,200-square-foot Grand Ballroom for up to 350 people, the Cottonwood Room, for up to 240, and a series of smaller rooms. The hotel's third-floor pool deck will be available for open-air receptions and the third-floor executive boardroom for small meetings. The spa will offer more than 9,000 square feet of space.
