Park Hyatt Aviara Resort recently opened in Carlsbad. The resort spans 205 acres set on the northern shore of the Batiquitos Lagoon, an untouched wetlands area with more than 130 species of birds. The resort offers 329 rooms, including 44 suites, all featuring a private balcony or landscaped terrace.
