An expansion is under way at the Indiana Convention Center (317.262.3400). The project will add 254,000 square feet of exhibit space, 63,000 square feet of meeting rooms and 100,000 square feet of prefunction space. When finished, the center will offer 71 meeting rooms, three ballrooms and 566,600 square feet of contiguous exhibit space. It will also be connected to Lucas Oil Stadium, home to the Indianapolis Colts NFL team.

The JW Marriott Indianapolis Downtown (317.822.8554) is scheduled to open in February. The property will be the biggest in the new Marriott Place complex and will offer 1,005 guest units. The entire complex, which includes five hotels and 2,200 guest rooms, will feature 104,000 square feet of meeting space when the JW Marriott opens.
