RCMA Offers Conference Comps

More Coverage

The Religious Conference Management Association (RCMA) is offering a program to pay the expenses of planners who attend the organization’s 39th World Conference and Expo in Tampa, Fla.

Scheduled for Jan. 25-28, 2011, at the Tampa Bay Convention Center, RCMA is offering a Hosted Buyer Scholarship Program, which would pay individual planner expenses such as the event’s registration fee, four nights of lodging and airfare up to $300.

According to RCMA, interested meeting planners must be the planner for their religious organization, execute meetings in various locations and utilize at least 60 room nights at an event in a year.

In order to qualify for the scholarship, planners must meet with exhibitors in at least 15 booths on each day: Jan. 26 and Jan. 27. In addition, they must meet with them for at least five minutes and obtain a signature from each.

After returning home, planners are required to send a completed signature page, scholarship application, hotel room bill and airline ticket to RCMA by Feb. 15, 2011.
