The ACC Hall of Champions (336.373.7456) will open next spring in the Greensboro Coliseum Complex to celebrate the Atlantic Coast Conference’s athletic and academic accomplishments. Interactive exhibits will feature displays, member-school exhibits and a multipurpose program space.

Greensboro Aquatic Center (336.373.7400) will debut in summer 2011in the Greensboro Coliseum Complex adjacent to the complex’s Special Events Center and rising ACC Hall of Champions. It will incorporate the most contemporary concepts in aquatic design and include three pools and a seating capacity for 2,500 spectators.
Winston-Salem

The Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art (336.725.1904) reopened in Winston-Salem with new technology and a relaxed atmosphere. An auditorium seats 294 guests, and the lobby has a beautiful view of the lake and grounds, where up to 100 people can sit for meals. Grier Library has a small living room-style configuration for about 20 and features a projection screen. The Garden Terrace accommodates up to 125 for receptions.
High Point

Uptowne High Point is a new destination for outdoor concerts, sidewalk sales, specialty shops and restaurants. It is located in a revitalized downtown area near the showroom district and Showplace convention center.

High Point Theatre (336.887.3001) recently expanded its lineup in the new season with Eclectricity. The site has an elegant 965-seat auditorium and three other spaces for exhibitions, meetings and receptions.

The new Kersey Valley Zip Line (336.802.1962) is one of the largest in the country, at 1.5 miles long. The facility features 100 percent structurally engineered Sky Towers designed with an electrical grounding protection system that uses gravity as the primary braking method.
