  • High Rollers Luxury Lanes & Lounge, an experiential bowling complex and dining and entertainment facility, recently debuted at Foxwoods Resort Casino, in Mashantucket, Conn. The 35,000-square-foot High Rollers features an innovative menu from executive chef and partner Kevin Long, two full-service bars, 20 bowling lanes including six VIP lanes, six professional billiard tables, a two-level lounge with a piano and 50-seat marble bar, and more than 60 large-screen, high-definition televisions.   • JW Marriott Hotels & Resorts recently introduced its Wine Ambassadors program at its 46 locations worldwide. The JW Wine Ambassadors are a volunteer cadre of wine experts from all areas of the hotel where wine is available and who represent the highest level of wine expertise at the property. Before being designated an ambassador, two certification programs must be completed, including on-line curriculum from the Academy of Wine covering such topics such as opening and serving wine, pairing food and wine, and overviews of varietal characteristics. Certified Wine Ambassadors participate in monthly tastings across the globe and notes are then shared with their peers throughout the JW Marriott portfolio in 19 countries on a website developed especially for the purpose.   • The Recycling Council of Ontario awarded Toronto's Exhibition Place the Platinum Facility Management Award, which recognizes buildings that showcase an internal waste minimization program. Exhibition Place received the award in October for outstanding achievement through its GREENSmart program, which has helped the facility achieve an 80 percent waste diversion rate.   • Stacey Nichols was named general manager of the newly renovated Hyatt Regency Cambridge. Most recently, Nichols served as general manager of the Hyatt Deerfield in suburban Chicago. Nichols began her Hyatt career in 1988.
