The Orlando/Orange County CVB is now called Visit Orlando, according to an announcement from the organization's board of directors. Along with the name change, the organization will unveil a new logo in early 2011.

The Piedmont Triad cities of Greensboro, High Point and Winston-Salem lie in a scenic central region between North Carolina's Atlantic coast and western mountains. Groups find
diverse heritage to explore in the area and business-friendly |
facilities. This is where Moravians migrated from central Europe in the 18th century, and peaceful protests helped spark civil change in the 1960s.
Though the area remains a furniture, tobacco and textile manufacturing center represented by corporations such as Hanes, International Textile Group and R.J. Reynolds Tobacco, technology businesses have begun to fill in some gaps left by global economic changes.

Greensboro
The International Civil Rights Center and Museum (336.274.9199) recently opened in Greensboro's former F.W. Woolworth store, where original lunch counter sit-in protests occurred in 1960.
The ACC Hall of Champions (336.373.7456) will open next spring in the Greensboro Coliseum Complex to celebrate the Atlantic Coast Conference's athletic and academic accomplishments. Interactive exhibits will feature displays, member-school exhibits and a multipurpose program space.

The Virginia Beach CVB recently unveiled Live the Life Adventures, a series of experiential group travel programs that showcase what Virginia Beach has to offer. Presented in six themes—Body/Mind/Spirit, Arts & Culture, Outdoor, Military, History and Culinary/Agriculture—these group programs, itineraries and tours have been created to help group planners develop customized travel adventures to meet their groups' specific needs.
