What are three of the hottest restaurants you would recommend for groups in Atlanta?
- F.A.B.: Guests enjoy traditional French fare with American steaks and chops, and panoramic views of the downtown Atlanta skyline at F.A.B. Formerly known as Brasserie Le Coze, F.A.B. is just steps away from Centennial Olympic Park, the Georgia Aquarium and the Georgia World Congress Center. F.A.B. offers a setting perfect for group dining or special events, with six beautifully appointed rooms ranging from intimate alcoves to private full floors. Customized menu options are available, featuring such delicacies such as oysters, escargot and Coq au Vin.
- Ormsby's: This classic neighborhood-tavern-meets-speakeasy located on Atlanta's west side offers a welcoming gathering spot after a day of meetings. Patrons step through a wooden door marked only with an "O" into the two-story Ormsby's. Stick around upstairs for craft beer, classic cocktails and a fresh pub menu. Or head downstairs to work up an appetite over bocce ball, darts, pool, backgammon or shuffleboard. Get a taste of the South and order hot boiled Georgia peanuts, or indulge in braised Painted Hills pot roast. Wash it all down with a local Terrapin India Brown Ale or Sweetwater Georgia Brown Ale (beer selections change weekly).
- Mary Mac's Tea Room: Guests to the South often ask where to go for the best traditional down-home Southern cuisine. One established favorite among tourists and locals is Mary Mac's Tea Room. Patrons can enjoy Southern classics like fried okra, sweet tea and Mary Mac's famous tomato pie, or imbibe in Southern libations such as a mint julep or peach martini. Some lucky guests will even receive a back rub from Mary Mac's "Goodwill Ambassador" Jo Carter. Mary Mac's is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner with full bar. Group dining is also available for breakfast or brunch until 11 a.m.
