Museums
The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston is presenting the exhibition French Impressionist and Post-Impressionist Masterpieces from the National Gallery of Art. This exhibition brings to Houston 50 paintings from the Washington, D.C.-based museum's premier holdings while the galleries that house its 19th-century French collection are closed for repair, renovation and restoration. The presentation showcases works by Cezanne, Degas, van Gogh, Manet, Monet and Renoir, among others. The exhibition runs from Feb. 20 to May 23. For more information, call 713.639.7300.
