Happenings – Atlanta
Loews Atlanta Hotel (404.745.5000) opened in April 2010 as the centerpiece of 12th & Midtown, a mixed-use development. The property has 414 guest rooms and more than 25,000 square feet of ballroom and meeting space.
In August 2010, Atlanta Marriott Marquis (404.521.0000) and Hyatt Regency Atlanta (404.577.1234) completed construction on a new pedestrian sky bridge that links the hotels over Peachtree Center Avenue. Along with the bridge completed in March 2009 that connects the Atlanta Marriott Marquis and Hilton Atlanta (404.659.2000), the hotels now offer meeting planners and guests seamless connection of 4,341 guest rooms and nearly 450,000 square feet of meeting space.
