Boston
The development team Norwich Partners of Boston expects to begin work in April on a $45 million, 120-room hotel with two ground-floor retail and restaurant spaces at 368 Congress Street (617.536.4100). The property will be housed in a restored, circa-1901, six-story building three blocks from Boston Convention and Exhibition Center.
The Royal Sonesta Hotel Boston (617.806.4200) is scheduled to finish a $6 million guest room renovation this month. The property has 22,000 square feet of meeting space and a seasonal outdoor patio available to groups during the spring and summer that overlooks the river and the city.

The Vermont Convention Bureau is offering the Vermont Meeting Advantage Program. The offer includes 2 percent rebate on guest room revenue to the master bill, complimentary Internet access in guest rooms and all meeting facilities, 50 percent or more off of a general session meeting room rental, 25 percent allowable guest room attrition, guest room upgrades for VIPs based on guest room blocks, complimentary RFP distribution and bid collection, a compilation of marketing and presentation materials on Vermont and complimentary site inspection coordination.
