The Inn at Harbour Town (843.363.8100) recently completed a $3 million renovation. Located on the first tee of world-famous Harbour Town Golf Links in Sea Pines Resort, the AAA Four Diamond, Forbes Four Star boutique property offers 60 guest rooms. Improvements included upgrades to all guest rooms and bathrooms, furniture, lobby and hallways with a bright coastal style and custom artwork. The 5,000-acre Sea Pines Resort boasts a total of 17,000 square feet of meeting space and many distinctive outdoor event spaces. Group activity options include three championship golf courses, tennis, jet skis, kayaks and horseback riding.
Metropolitan Hotel (843.842.3100) is under new management. The beachfront property is currently undergoing a refurbishment to its 78 guest rooms and has welcomed a new restaurant. It is the new location of Hinchey's Chicago Grill & Bar, formerly located at the Beach Market. The hotel offers banquet facilities for groups as large as 200.
The exclusive Harbour Town Yacht Club (843.671.1400) plans to finish a $1.5 million renovation this spring. Upgrades include new floors, granite countertops, furniture and fresh paint as well as improvements to the club's yacht. Built in 1970, the club can welcome as many as 120 for events.
Hilton Garden Inn (843.837.8111) recently finished a $500,000 renovation. All 104 guest rooms feature new carpet, paint, furniture and 32-inch HD flat-screen televisions. Public areas and 1,800 square feet of meeting space have also been renovated.
