What are three of the most unique off-site venues you would recommend for groups meeting in
Hilton Head?
- Spirit of Harbour Town: The 73-foot Spirit of Harbour Town yacht departs Hilton Head's famous Harbour Town Marina for a three-hour dinner cruise through the unspoiled estuaries behind Bull Island and the Cooper River. Dolphins and a host of wading wildlife can be seen during the picturesque sunset voyage. Hors d'oeuvres and cocktails are served as up to 90 guests depart, and a buffet feast featuring fresh local seafood is served while you watch the sun slip behind the salt marsh from one of the most unique dining options in the Low Country.
- Wilson Landing: Palmetto Bluff was purchased in 1902 by Richard T. Wilson, Jr. He and his sister, who married a Vanderbilt, began an era of decadent blue-blood entertaining. Now it is a thriving waterfront community with waterfront village homes and properties ranging up to 25 acres. Wilson Landing at Palmetto Bluff is a remote hunting and party facility with a phenomenal marsh-side pavilion, a 10-story tree house overlooking the river, a dock for their exclusive World War I-era yacht and an array of sporting activities. This is the perfect location to bring up to 150 of your favorite friends for a Low Country boil or one of our world famous oyster roasts.
- Harbour Town Yacht Club: Located in the marina at the foot of the famous red-and white-striped lighthouse is the Harbour Town Yacht Club. The top floor of the club is an indoor and outdoor playland overlooking the entire yacht basin, the shops and Calibogue Sound. The lounge area is cozy and includes pool tables, TV, card tables and comfortable furniture. The outdoor sundeck is the perfect location for an al fresco feast and a frosty libation. Entertainment is abundant around the marina, which is one of the island's biggest attractions. We suggest making this home base for groups of up to 120 guests to take advantage of all the recreational activities and sightseeing opportunities around Sea Pines Plantation.
