Research and writing for Meetings Focus publications, a defense-oriented think tank, and two computer-security firms—quite a bit of diversity!

Most unique place you’ve been: Southern Tunisia, where many people live in really nice buildings that are 30 feet underground to beat the heat. Scenes of the desert planet Tattooine in Star Wars were filmed there.
Favorite aspect of the meetings/travel industry: My ever-lengthening list of places to visit, thanks to hundreds of conversations with CVB officials.
Pet peeve: People who get to the airport and then call someone to say they're at the airport.
One thing about you that most people don’t know: Sorry, I'm shy.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever received in our industry? Middle managers in the hospitality industry are the best barometer of their business's success.
What’s your favorite local/regional place to take a visitor to your area? Everyone's seen photos, but when you actually stand in front of Lincoln at the Lincoln Memorial, it pretty much blows people away.
Is there anything else you’d like to add that we’ve overlooked? Nope.
