Happenings – Lake Tahoe
North Lake Tahoe
Boulder Bay (775.833.3377) slightly revised its plans to revitalize the Crystal Bay portion of Lake Tahoe, but was still planning to move forward with the large project at press time. Plans were contingent upon approval of the Final Environmental Impact Statement by the board of the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency, which had been slated to meet in late March on the matter. Among the project's changes since its original proposal are to reduce its lodging units to 334 from 381, and to cut total retail and dining space back to 18,715 square feet from 27,620 square feet.
