ASAE Applauds Senate's 1099 Repeal
ASAE issued an announcement supporting the recent vote by the U.S. Senate to repeal expanded reporting requirements that would require all businesses and non-profit organizations to issue 1099 forms to vendors from whom they purchase goods totaling more than $600 per year.

Happenings – Ohio
Rock Ohio Caesars (ROC) recently announced their decision to move forward with plans for gaming developments in Cleveland and Cincinnati. Horseshoe Casino Cleveland is expected to open in early 2012 and will be the state's first casino. It is slated to be located in the Historic Higbee Building on Public Square near the city's entertainment district. ROC will also develop and operate a casino in downtown Cincinnati.
