Meetings in a Minute

Our Meetings in a Minute camera traveled to the National Conference Center in Leesburg, Va., to tape some tips during the recent International Association of Conference Centers Annual Conference. First up is Andrea Sullivan, founder of BrainStrength Systems, who advises meeting planners to hold back on the white flour and sugary food choices in order to keep attendees focused on the meeting. The second clip features Karole Braunstein, Sr. Government Meeting Planner for Fairfax, Va.'s HydroGeoLogic Inc., who has saved money by requesting that a meeting facility's kitchen hold off on serving dessert for lunch, and instead dish it out for an afternoon break.

Don't forget to tune in again for more valuable peer-to-peer tips from your colleagues in the meetings industry.
