The Gold Strike Casino Resort Tunica reopened on Wednesday, May 18. The Horseshoe Casino and Hotel and Tunica Roadhouse Casino and Hotel are expected to reopen on Friday.
According to Webster Franklin, president and CEO of the Tunica CVB, the casinos did not sustain any damage, although their parking lots were flooded with water when the Mississippi River crested at record-high levels last week.
No announcement have yet been made on when the other six closed casinos in Tunica will reopen.
