  • The High Museum of Art in Atlanta will collaborate with The Museum of Modern Art, New York (MoMA), with the exclusive presentation of the exhibition Picasso to Warhol: Twelve Modern Masters, beginning in October. The exhibition will present approximately 100 works created by 12 of the most iconic artists from the 20th century: Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse, Constantin Brancusi, Piet Mondrian, Fernand Leger, Marcel Duchamp, Giorgio De Chirico, Joan Miro, Alexander Calder, Jackson Pollock, Jasper Johns and Andy Warhol. The exhibition will be one of the largest concentrations of modern art masterpieces to ever be exhibited in the Southeastern U.S. The exhibition will be on view from Oct. 15 through April 29, 2012.   • The Dallas Museum of Art is presenting The Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier: From the Sidewalk to the Catwalk from Nov. 13 to Feb. 12, 2012. Gaultier's early work in the 1970s earned him the nickname "enfant terrible" of fashion. This exhibition is the first retrospective devoted to Gaultier, whose fashion design draws inspiration from dance, pop-rock, cinema, television, photography and world cultures. The exhibition highlights Gaultier's eclectic sources of inspiration through a selection of 120 haute couture dresses and ready-to-wear pieces made between 1976 and 2011.   • The Puerto Rico Convention Bureau recently launched a new interactive website (www.meetsanjuan.com) dedicated to meetings and conventions in San Juan. The website is tailored specifically to the needs of meeting planners and convention delegates, and offers in-depth information on accommodations, meeting venues and other information about Puerto Rico's capital city. The centralized portal provides planners with facts about points of interest, detailed maps, as well as entertainment and dining guides. Meeting planners can also send an online RFP through the website for room blocks and other services. The online RFP portion of the site also offers links to features such as hot rates and special promotions, as well as a destination planning guide.   • The Greater Houston CVB recently began exploring ways to generate more national recognition for the city's culinary offerings and looked to Houston's most lauded chefs to develop a culinary program. The group created a unique culinary experience, Where the Chefs Eat culinary tours. Rather than a traditional, behind-the-scenes tour of a big-name chef's kitchen, the tours cover places the chefs eat on their days off.   • W Hotels Worldwide recently unveiled its own global iPhone application. The W app not only holds hotel booking capability for W Hotels around the world, but also features an integrated music platform with exclusive content, as well as W Insider tips and fashion finds, among other topics. Guests can connect with friends and followers through Facebook, Twitter or FourSquare directly from the W Hotels app. They can also find out about special offers to redeem during their stay by choosing the "Messages" tab on each hotel page. There is also an option to check out what is happening at W Hotels around the globe or find a special deal using the "Special Offers" page.   • Leesburg, Va's National Conference Center recently released a white paper titled, The Science of Food for Thought: Enhancing Meetings Through Food, the first issue of a quarterly white paper series by the conference center. The white paper elaborates on how to have the most productive meetings with food. Research and experiments by Andrea Sullivan, M.A. of BrainStrength Systems and Executive Chef Craig Mason expose the truth about the effects of consuming sugar in the afternoon, keys to choosing the ideal meeting lunch and the value of consuming locally grown food.
