MPI’s most recent Business Barometer, a bimonthly survey of senior-level meeting professionals, indicates a growing concern that escalating fuel and air travel costs will have a negative impact on face-to-face meetings.
In another significant finding, the survey indicated that job growth in the meetings industry is strengthening in the U.S., for both contract and full-time employment. The survey also reported that 72 percent of respondents see business conditions improving over 2010.
