Whew! There’s a lot of weighty content in this issue, covering an array of Southern destinations, of course, but also a topic that should be on the mind of all planners.
Even though our “Storm Warnings” story is perhaps most relevant to association planners—who typically have the largest groups—contingency planning should be a top priority for any person responsible for large gatherings. The many tragic natural disasters that have happened this year only serve as a testament to the urgency of being prepared for the worst.
