Hong Kong-based New World Development Co. bought five luxury properties in North America from the Rosewood Hotels & Resorts portfolio for $570 million, including the Rosewood Crescent Hotel and Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek, both in Dallas.
The others purchased are The Carlyle in New York, Rosewood Inn of the Anasazi in Santa Fe, N.M., and Rosewood Little Dix Bay in the British Virgin Islands.
In another deal last month, New World acquired the Rosewood brand for $229.5 million from Los Angeles-based Maritz, Wolf & Co. and Rosewood Corp. of Dallas
