Hilton Worldwide has announced plans to open the Embassy Suites St. Louis - Downtown in the Mercantile Exchange District in October.
The 212-suite hotel is located in the historic Laurel Building adjacent to the America's Center in the revitalized downtown area.
The hotel will be the first major facility to open in the Mercantile Exchange District, which includes more than 1 million total square feet of residential, retail and commercial space with 2,300 dedicated parking spaces.
The Embassy Suites St. Louis - Downtown will offer two-room suites, an indoor swimming pool and whirlpool, a fitness center, a 24-hour business center, six executive boardroom suites and 5,000 square feet of meeting space.
The hotel is also located in close proximity to many area attractions, including the Gateway Arch, Edward Jones Dome and Busch Stadium.
