Planners looking to schedule a 2012 event may find themselves eligible for up to $5,000 in additional savings courtesy of the Reno-Sparks Convention & Visitors Authority.
With an event that produces more than 100 room nights at one of a dozen resort hotel properties, planners can receive a master account credit of $1,000, with up to a $5,000 credit for events calling for more than 400 room nights. Planners must book their 2012 event by March 31, 2012.
Participating hotel properties include Atlantis Casino Resort Spa, Circus Circus Reno, Eldorado Hotel Casino, Grand Sierra Resort & Casino, Harrah’s Reno, Holiday Inn Sparks, Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa & Casino, John Ascuaga’s Nugget Casino Resort, Peppermill Resort Spa Casino, Ramada Reno Hotel Casino, Sands Regency and Silver Legacy Resort Casino.
Reno Tahoe has made $1 billion in recent investments throughout the community, spending $500 million at several hotel-casino properties and more than $20 million improving the travel experience at Reno-Tahoe International Airport.
