Nice to see St. Louis gracing the cover of this month’s issue, as I recently traveled there for ASAE’s Annual Meeting & Exposition and got to experience the city’s downtown hospitality, sampling everything from deep-fried ravioli near the foot of the Gateway Arch to the town’s signature barbecue just off the cobblestone streets of Laclede’s Landing.
I have to hand it to the host city on this one, as it really had all hands on deck to cater to attendees. The accommodating attitude began right after touching down at the airport, where baggage claim served as a stage for some genuine home-town blues musicians!
