Hotel Diva Slated for $2 Million Makeover

Diva, a Personality Hotel located in San Francisco, is currently in the midst of a $2 million upgrade set for completion in November. Led by Edmonds + Lee Architects, all guestrooms, common areas and the exterior are being made over with a clean, modern style.

Hotel Diva’s 116 guestrooms will be painted in three shades of grey with deep plum accents, the the signature rolled steel headboards will be accented with luxurious crisp white bedding, an embroidered DIVA euro pillow sham and an Andrew Morgan luxury throw. Other changes include the addition of designer Harry Bertoia covered in custom-designed fabric windows are dressed in custom shades printed with dramatic images.

The hotel will also be launching a one-of-a-kind Perrier Lounge, slated to open in January 2012. Designed around the well-known green bottle and other elements of the brand, the space will feature custom glass bottle light fixtures, intimate seating and meeting space and a Perrier vending machine stocked with a variety of flavors. Hotel guests will also receive a complimentary bottle of Perrier Sparkling Natural Mineral Water upon check-in.

Newly designed bathrooms will include a crisp white Lucite wall pattern and floor tile resembling Brazilian hardwood.
