Hyatt Regency Indianapolis has launched a $19 million guestroom transformation, with completion marked for January 2012. Located in the heart of Indy’s downtown, the hotel will showcase the city’s newest set of guestrooms and suites.
The upgrade comprises all 499 guestrooms, suites and hallways; this includes 25 Respire hypo-allergenic rooms—furnishing a comfortable sleeping environment for allergy sufferers. The refreshed, residential-style guestrooms have ergonomic and spacious workstations, custom woodwork and contemporary bathrooms—plus the latest in technology, including radio frequency identification guestroom locks, state of the art individual atmosphere controls, iHome stations and 37’’ LCD flat screen TVs.
The improvements come on the heels of the property’s addition of a Regency Club in April, which offers an executive continental breakfast, solid selection of cocktails and hors d’oeuvres in the evening, plus private check-in/out and personalized concierge service.
The hotel also features an impressive 21-story atrium lobby, over 35,000 square feet of flexible function space, and dining options that include Level One Lounge, One South Restaurant and The Eagle’s Nest, the city's only rooftop-revolving restaurant and lounge. And another bonus is the property’s fully equipped 24-hour gym, with a heated indoor pool, whirlpool and sauna.
