Charlotte
- The 172-room Hyatt Place Charlotte-Uptown (888.591.1234; www.hyatt.com) is on track to open by September 2012 prior to the Democratic National Convention.
- Hotel Sierra (704.373.9700; www.hotelsierracharlottecentercity.hyatt.com) opened in March with indoor and outdoor meeting space.

Although, trying to pin down the exact launch date reminds me of one of my favorite sayings: “Everything in the universe is subject to change…and…everything is on schedule.”
