Checking In

We’re happy to announce a major addition to the staff of Meetings Focus, with the hiring of Rayna Katz as our new Content Director, Features and News.

Those of you who have been in the business for awhile may recognize her name from one of the other great trade magazines serving the meetings industry, MeetingNews, where she served in a variety of editorial positions for some 13 years.

Rayna, who is based in New York City, will handle the news effort and features sections in all of our publications, as well as spearhead the daily news effort at www.meetingstoday.com.

And while Rayna is aboard, we’re sad to see Maria Lenhart depart, but we all hope to see some of her fantastic writing appear in our pages again very soon and wish her the best of luck.
