ST. LOUIS, MO
A new 212-suite hotel has opened here, in the downtown area. The Embassy Suites St. Louis Downtown debuted earlier this month in the historic Laurel building, as part of the emerging Mercantile Exchange (MX) entertainment district. The property is also adjacent to the America’s Center Convention Center.
“Guests at the Embassy Suites will be able to do a lot in the MX,” says Amos Harris, developer of the MX. “They can dine, see a movie or stage play, shop, and take in the amazing history of blues music at the National Blues Museum.” The MX will open in full next summer.
The hotel features 6,061 square feet of meeting space, including two ballrooms and several boardrooms. The largest room offers 3,026 square feet.
