Meeting attendees in Memphis now can download a free mobile application that will help them take advantage of the city. The Memphis Convention & Visitors Bureau has announced the release of the Memphis Travel mobile application, which will be available to download for free in the iTunes Store and coming shortly to the Android Market.
According to a statement from the bureau, “Memphis Travel gives users access to hundreds of irresistible attractions, tasty comfort food, rockin’ hotels, toe tappin’ juke joints, exclusive deals and more.” Features of the app include: a guide through a musical journey of the Bluff City; insider articles and guides to uncover Memphis’ authentic underground culture; hundreds of attractions, restaurants and points of interest, from Graceland to Beale Street; the ability to sort by name, type, price range or those attractions closest to your location; coupons and special offers; photos, videos and in-depth descriptions.
“Whether traveling on vacation or businesses, visitors will be able to access information at their leisure and when they need it most,” said Kevin Kane, president and CEO of the Memphis Convention & Visitors Bureau.
