  • The National Geographic exhibition Cleopatra: The Search for the Last Queen of Egypt is on display at the Milwaukee Public Museum (MPM) through April 29, 2012. The exhibition features over 150 artifacts, religious tokens, coins and jewelery pieces from Cleopatra’s rule during the Ptolemaic period, as well historic records of the 2,000-year search for the enigmatic queen’s final resting place. The MPM is the third stop on the exhibition’s international tour. The museum is also celebrating its 127th anniversary with a virtual exhibit showcasing 127 items from the its collection.   • Snow Days Chicago, a free three-day festival, will liven up the blustery Chicago winter for the fourth year. Past event highlights include dogsled-racing demonstrations, snowboarding “rail jams”, international snow-sculpting competitions and other cold-weather, family-friendly attractions.
