HOLYOKE, Mass.
Hard Rock International Inc. announced it will develop and manage a Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, pursuant to proposed legislation to bring gaming to the New England state.
The casino’s development is contingent on the approval of casino licenses by the Massachusetts in the state government, which is in the midst of being approved after different versions of the bill were approved by the state’s two legislative houses.
It was not clear at press time how many rooms or how much meeting space the hotel would offer, though Hard Rock typically creates sizeable properties.
