Hilton Milwaukee City Center Joins Historic Hotels of America

MILWAUKEE, Wis.

Hilton Milwaukee City Center has become a member of Historic Hotels of America. The 729-room property, featuring more than 34,000 square feet of meeting space, is a Grand Dame of the city.

“For nearly 85 years, the Hilton Milwaukee City Center’s distinctive Art Deco architecture has graced Milwaukee’s skyline,” said Thierry Roch, executive director of Historic Hotels of America. “This hotel’s architectural elements and prominent location provide the perfect blend of 1920s grandeur and contemporary amenities to today’s discerning traveler.”

Hilton Milwaukee City Center is one of more than 235 hotels and resorts throughout the country that is recognized by Historic Hotels of America for preserving and maintaining its historic integrity, architecture and ambiance. To be selected for membership in Historic Hotels of America, a hotel must be at least 50 years old, listed in or eligible for the National Register of Historic Places, or recognized locally as having historic significance.
