DALLAS
The downtown Dallas landscape is about to change following a newly announced property-wide transformation of the Joule, Dallas. Housed in a landmark, 1920s neo-gothic bank building, the hotel will undergo a $78 million renovation and expansion over the year ahead that will grow the hotel to nearly an entire city block.
Among many highlights is the addition of expanded event spaces, 31 guest rooms, suites and penthouses, a new spa and a second Charlie Palmer concept. In addition, an already existing subterranean spot at the hotel, the PM Lounge, will be completely restyled and converted into an “adult playground" featuring a 600-square-foot screening room with seating for 25 and a 1,350-square foot recording studio. The space will also include a bar with karaoke capabilities and other interactive digital features.
The renovation is scheduled for completion by next fall. The hotel will remain open throughout construction. The Joulle Dallas currently features 2,374 square feet of meeting space.
