The Las Vegas Convention Center is expanding its free Wi-Fi access to customers in all public areas.
The LVCC and Smart City Networks, a technology provider, have developed a tiered system to provide wireless access. The free basic Wi-Fi access will be available at all times in public areas. Visitors also have the option of upgrading to a premium connection for more bandwidth at $12.95 per day. Exhibitor-grade Wi-Fi access for trade show booths will continue to be provided at $99.95 per day.
“We are pleased to provide this new Wi-Fi service at the convention center, enabling people to use Wi-Fi for their basic daily tasks, like checking email or surfing the web, for free,” said Mark Haley, president of Smart City.
